Responsible Gaming
Gambling should stay a form of entertainment that you can afford and control. This page explains the safer gambling tools in your account with us, how to spot the signs of a problem, and where to get free help.

Our commitment: gambling as entertainment, for adults only
We want playing at Tropical Wins Casino to stay a pastime rather than a pressure. The games here are entertainment: outcomes are determined at random, the house holds a mathematical edge over time, and no system, pattern or run of play changes that.
So treat the money you spend with us the way you would treat the cost of an evening out: decide the amount before you start, use money already set aside for leisure, and stop when it is gone.
- Work out what you can afford to lose over a week or a month, then set a deposit limit that matches.
- Keep gambling money separate from money needed for rent, bills, food or repayments.
- Never raise your stakes or deposit again to win back a loss.
Gambling with us is for adults aged 18 or over. We hold a gaming licence and verify the age and identity of our account holders. If we find that an account holder is under 18, we close the account, void any winnings and return the deposited balance under our terms.
If you are gambling to fix a money problem
Gambling is not a way to clear a debt or win back a loss. If you are depositing to chase money you have lost, set a time-out now and talk to one of the services further down this page.
The tools in your account and how to switch them on
Every tool below is built into your account. You will find them together in the responsible gambling area of the cashier, and you can switch them on yourself at any time, without asking us first.
Deposit limits
A deposit limit caps what you can pay in over a period you choose, such as a day, a week or a month, and you can hold limits for several periods at once. A tighter limit applies straight away; a request to raise or remove one takes effect only after the cooling-off period shown in your account.
Loss and session limits
A loss limit caps the net amount you can lose over the period you pick. A session limit caps how long one visit lasts; when the time runs out we tell you and the session closes. Tighter settings start immediately, looser ones wait.
Reality checks
A reality check is an on-screen reminder at an interval you choose. It pauses play, shows how long you have been playing and how your balance has moved, then lets you carry on or close the session.
Time-outs
A time-out locks the account for one of the periods offered in the cashier: no deposits, no play and no marketing from us. You can still withdraw a balance you hold, and the account reopens on its own when the break ends.
Self-exclusion
Self-exclusion is a longer commitment, for the minimum period set out in the cashier or any longer term you ask for. Once it starts we cannot lift it early: the account is closed to deposits and play, you come off all marketing, and we block attempts to open another account in your name. When the period ends, the exclusion holds until you ask us to restore access and a further cooling-off period has passed.
Switching a tool on
- Sign in and open the responsible gambling or account settings area.
- Choose the tool you want: deposit limit, loss limit, session limit, reality check, time-out or self-exclusion.
- Enter the amount or the period you want and confirm your choice.
- Check the confirmation on screen or in your e-mail; anything that tightens your play applies from that moment.
- If you cannot find a setting, or would rather we applied it for you, use the live chat on the site or e-mail support@casinotropicalwins.co.uk.
Signs that gambling may be becoming a problem
No single sign proves there is a problem, but the points below are the ones treatment services ask about most often. Answer them honestly about the past few months.
- You gamble for longer, or with more money, than you intended.
- You deposit again after a loss, hoping to win it back.
- You gamble with money meant for bills or repayments, or you borrow to gamble.
- You hide how much you gamble, or how much you have lost, from people close to you.
- You feel restless, low or irritable when you try to cut down or stop.
- Gambling takes time away from work, study, sleep, family or friends.
- Someone has told you they are worried about your gambling.
If several of these feel familiar, set a time-out or self-exclude, then contact one of the services below. Help is free, and you do not have to be in crisis to use it.
Where to get free, confidential help
The organisations below have no stake in whether you gamble. We can act on your account with us; they can help you look at the wider picture.
- GambleAware funds and signposts free information, advice and treatment for anyone affected by gambling harm in Great Britain, including friends and family.
- GamCare provides free counselling, group support and practical help for people harmed by their own or someone else's gambling, delivered by trained advisers.
- GamStop is the free national online self-exclusion scheme: one registration blocks your access to gambling websites and apps licensed in Great Britain for the period you choose.
- The National Gambling Helpline, operated by GamCare, offers confidential one-to-one support every day of the year.
You can also speak to your GP about the treatment available through the health service, and to a free debt advice charity if money is the pressing worry. Many banks let you block gambling payments on your card from inside their app.
Protecting children and other people in your household
Our site is for adults. An account may only be opened and used by the named holder, who must be 18 or over. We verify age and identity when an account is opened, before a withdrawal is paid and at any other point where we need to confirm who is playing, and we may ask for documents at any time.
Letting anyone under 18 use your account is a breach of our terms. If you share a device or a home with children, a few habits make that much harder to happen:
- Log out after every session and do not let the browser or app store your password.
- Keep card and wallet details out of saved payment methods on shared devices.
- Use parental control or filtering software to block gambling content; operating systems, broadband providers and mobile networks offer it, and specialist blocking tools are available too.
Tell us straight away
If you believe someone under 18 has used your account, contact us through live chat or at support@casinotropicalwins.co.uk so we can lock the account while we look into it.
